Most of our brides find their dream wedding dress during their first bridal appointment to it’s important to be prepared.
We recommend browsing through our designer on our website as well as going through our Pinterest where you can browse our entire in-store selection. Start saving or pinning the gowns you are most drawn to and fit your wedding vision.
Our team will reach out the week of your appointment to talk through your inspiration, details you are looking for (and not looking for) in your dress and any specific designers or gowns you are loving.

You may wear whatever makes you comfortable underneath the gowns, but we do require underwear. If you know you are going to want to wear a spanx or anything specific underneath your gown, we recommend bringing those with you for the appointment. Almost all of our sample gowns to have pads in them, so a bra is not necessary unless you prefer it.
Please note: One of our professionally trained Bridal Stylists will join you in the fitting room to help you in and out of the gowns.

Most of our brides find their dream dress during their first appointment. This is why we always recommend having all of your people with you on shopping day and be open to finding the one at any time.
Prior to your appointment, our team will reach out to connect about your inspiration, likes and dislikes and prepare you for finding your dream dress.
Your professionally trained Bridal Stylist takes all of this information as well as anything else you share at the beginning of your appointment to narrow down our wide selection and strategically help you find the perfect dress for your big day.

Our bridal samples range from size 8 to size 30 in each location, with the majority being between sizes 10-16 and our plus size collections between 20-30.
We believe that every bride deserves to feel beautiful when dress shopping so each of our locations carries a diverse range of ranges.
If the sample gown is too small or too large, we clip the dress to fit your body. Please keep in mind that bridal sizes are different from everyday clothing. Typically bridal gowns run very small! Anticipate your bridal size being about two-three sizes larger than your average dress size.
-
Once you find your dream dress, we require a 60% deposit to place your order. Once your order is submitted, no changes or cancellations can be made since all orders are custom made for each bride.

All of our gowns are made-to-order and can take 4 to 10 months to produce. When you factor in shipping and alterations, it could be a twelve month total process.
We suggest deciding on a dress nine to twelve months prior to your wedding date, so you have time built in for fittings and accessorizing.
There are rush options for weddings under six months, but rush fees do apply.
If you are running on a tight timeline and don’t have time to Special Order a gown, we still have the location for you. Check out our off-the-rack sample store, The Wedding Loft.
-
We like to order the dress as close to your current size as possible, but all bridal gowns need alterations to give it a perfect fit for your body.
Before picking up the gown you purchase at The Wedding Studio, we suggest you contact a tailor to schedule your appointment to start the fitting process.
The Wedding Studio has recommended bridal tailors so contact us for a referral. We recommend starting your alterations 2-3 months prior to the wedding date, so make sure to add this time onto the 4-7 months for gown production.
-
We do not offer in-house alterations, but have a list recommend seamstresses that our brides have used and loved.
We don’t have any required alterations packages, which means you only pay for what you need to have done to make your gown fit like a glove.
-
Accessories are the icing on the cake. Our stylists are very experienced at pulling together your whole look during your bridal gown appointment. Often, seeing the whole ensemble together helps the bride say “ ‘Yes’, this is my dress!”
Of course, you’re always welcomed back if you need more time to make your final decision. Keep in mind, most accessories are special order too, and while they don’t usually take as much time as a wedding gown, it can be several weeks/months.
-
The Wedding Studio carries an edited selection of each designer’s collection, but trunk shows are a designated time where we will have an extended selection of a particular designer.
The trunk shows only last a couple of days, and appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend you book early if one of your favorite designers will be visiting TWS and you want to be able to shop the whole line. Discounts apply on trunk show merchandise during the trunk show dates only.
-
A designer preview show, simply put, is the ultimate personal shopping experience. On the day of the show, the Wedding Studio will showcase the newest wedding dresses from the designer.
A bride can schedule an appointment to see and try on these wedding dresses which are not ordinarily carried in her local salon.
Many of these gowns are also designer show exclusives and will not be available after the event ends. At select shows, a Designer and/or Executive from the designer will be in attendance so a bride can talk with them about the inspiration, trends, and details behind the wedding dresses in the collection. Call as early as possible, as appointments book quickly.
