2025/2026 bridal trends

Our team is in the depths of bridal market season and we are seeing all the newest trends that are coming for the 2025/2026 bride. Here is what we are seeing coming in HOT to the bridal scene:

  1. basque waist/drop waist

Basque and drop waist bridal gowns are EASILY the biggest trend that we are seeing coming to bridal in the next couple of seasons. Designers are excited to be bringing this bodice shape back to the forefront of their collections. As they say, trends come and go but they always come back and this is proof. Designers like Chosen by Kyha, Justin Alexander, Nicole + Felicia and more are crafting incredible basque and drop waist bridal gowns in their newest collections coming to store end of 2024.

With their distinct waistlines and figure-enhancing silhouettes, these dresses offer a perfect blend of sophistication and allure. The basque waist bodice shape is usually a V or U-shape that dips below the natural waistline before flowing into the skirt where the drop waist gown features a waistline that sits lower on the hips to elongate the torso for a fashion-forward look. These bodice shapes can feel like an ode to the past while also feeling on trend and chic and we are HERE FOR IT.

2. High-neck

Bridal trends may come and go, there’s something undeniably timeless about the classic high-neck wedding dress. After years of the v-neck and various other necklines being all the rage, the high-neck is finally making it’s way back onto the bridal scene. From vintage-inspired lace designs to sleek and modern interpretations, high-neck wedding dresses offer a sense of sophistication and refinement that is perfect for the discerning bride.

Whether you are channeling the elegance of iconic style icons like Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly on their wedding day or going for a more fresh and fashion-forward approach, a high-neck wedding gown could be the perfect look for you. One of the most appealing aspects of this neckline is versatility. From a grand cathedral ceremony or an intimate garden affair, this style effortlessly exudes romance and grace.

3. CHANTILLY LACE

In the world of bridal fashion, few material evoke the same sense of romance and elegance as Chantilly lace. This gorgeous fabric has been around for centuries and is making a comeback in the bridal space in a huge way. Named after the town of Chantilly in France, this lace has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. Originally crafted by hand using intricate techniques passed down through generations, Chantilly lace became synonymous with luxury and refinement.

Today, Chantilly lace remains as coveted as ever in bridal fashion. Whether adoring a classic ballgown or a sleek sheath silhouette, it adds a touch of romance and femininity to any gown and I mean, if it is good enough for royalty and aristocracy, it’s good enough for the wedding day if you ask me. Designers are SHOWING UP will incredible gowns with top to bottom Chantilly lace or delicate touches throughout so whether you are ready to go all out or just want to accessorize with beautiful, detachable sleeves, we will have the perfect option for you.

4. ELEVATED CLEAN

As most of us know, simplicity often reigns supreme, especially in bridal. Clean lines, minimalist designs, and understated elegance have become increasingly popular in recent years and sometimes it can feel like you have seen it all. Enter elevated clean gowns — a chic and refined interpretation of this minimalist style. Designers are getting creative to bring you new renditions of the classic look and we are LOVING it.

5. TEXTURED FABRICS

In the world of social media, wedding content is filling our feeds. Brides are seeking to find new ways to infuse their sense of style and personality into their bridal look(s). One trend that is heavily picking up speed in the bridal industry is the use of textured fabrics. From intricate embroidery to tactile fabrics like jacquard and brocade, these fabrics add depth, dimension, and a level of luxury to the look.

These fabrics create a multi-dimensional effect that is both visually and tactilely pleasing. It offers brides the unique opportunity to elevate their look in ways that can be subtle for the minimalist that is looking for something understated or for the maximalist that wants to add even more of a flare to the look.
